« D’ombres et de lumières »
is a sims 2 story based upon the characters from «The rose of
Versailles »

If you’ve read or watched  this
manga /anime, don’t expect to read a similar story.

« The rose of Versailles »
takes place in the XVIIIth century in France ( Versailles, Paris and
Arras),

my sims story takes place in
Châteaumirail, a very small township, near Versailles.

Châteaumirail does not exist, and nor
its postcode. This story starts in the early 60’s, the mains
characters are Louise and François-Augustin and their relatives.
Something unexpected will happen to them.

It will follow the life of a family ( and their friends ?) between the
early 60’s to 2015 or a little bit later, with  a flashback in 1918 (
not related to WW1) and some during the late 20’s, late 40’s, 50’s.
One
of the most important part of the begining will be a teen pregnancy in
the 60’s in France.
There will be
others subjects like abortion before 1975 ( it was forbidden, and
arbortionists were jailed…in 1943, Marie-Louise Giraud,an abortionist
was guillotined ), murder, violence, jealousy  ( revenge ?)
My story won’t be pg13 ( sex scenes, nudity in inappropriate places, blood …..)

I’m not sure to write that story, I still have this problem with the missing pictures and my monitor highest resolution is 1366X768, which is very very very low and very very bad for sims 2.

I still have this big problem with the pictures, but the worst is my level.

I’ve been thrown in a bad vocational school, like the most stupid pupils, in a very inferior sector of study. Then now, I’m very illiterate and the worst second grade has a language and litterature  level  so much better than me.His/her writing skills are 100 billions better than mine.

I finally got it…..I hope it will work, but I’m scared.

I can’t play with the DVD  rom version anymore, it makes my computer stop after a few minutes or a  few hours. I don’t think it’s the computer because I can play  sims 3 and sims 4 without any problems ( and the sims 3 can have a lot of bugs even on a gaming computer, and my computer is a gaming one, GTX 750 CPU : 6 cores  which is  great for sims games.

The dvd rom is now very scratched and damaged, that might explain the problem, then I hope.

The kid version of Louise and François-Augustin.

At the begining of the story, Louise is still a kid, she is 12, she’ll be a bit taller than in these pictures. François-Augustin will be a teenager.

In the flashback Louise will be six and François-Augustin eight and half.

I’ll use the stretchskeleton cheat and different clothes and hairstyles.

Gertrude Mangin, the primary nurse. Her name come from  the japanese anime based upon the book  “A little princess”.  I use the french version of the name of Miss Minchin  I don’t know if her first name is mentioned in the book, I’ve never read it.

Like the one in the book and the anime, she won’t be very nice.

One of the caregiver or hospital worker won’t be nice either,  I haven’t created her yet, but her name will be Miss Rougemont ( Fraulein Rottemaïer from Heidi ).

Those are minor characters, I’ll use them in a very few scenes.
