The sims model I’ll use ( non modified version) at different ages
teen/YA/A/Senior ( no “age sliders” on the adult version and nor on the elder one).
This skin does not look good on kids, I hate that strange mouth.
I might use this skin ( glam) on babies/toddlers/kids, the others ones don’t work properly on babies and look ugly on toddlers/ kids ( the EA ugly mouth ).

I look for sims 2 stories, I’m interested by realistic stories : dramas, crimes stories, stories with sick kids or teens, soap operas…. but no sci-fi:fantasy or stories with creatures, and I’m not fond of funny stories.
No challenges, no legacies, no stories with the premades, and no ingame stories, I’ve read a lot of stories like this and most of them are good, but I want something different, but it’s hard to find sims 2 stories….sims 2 is my fav sims game.

It seems it’s impossible to find sims 2 stories, I prefer dramas/soap operas, and stories based on a family, with a lot of dramas and illustrated with beautiful pictures, ( beautiful sims, with a lot of CC, and poses, I don’t like maxis’stuff or maxis match ) taken with fraps or other program, but not these ingame pics with C key. Like “Little fire burning”, I think a lot of simmers ( sims 2 ) know this wonderful story.

This is Pearl, a super crazyass yorkie who gets everyone’s
love after 20 seconds spent with her. She’s gonna bark at you, she’s gonna make
a ugly face and try to grab your hand, which will get you to think she dislikes
you, but that’s actually a smile and once she gets to your hand she’s gonna
lick everything and keep asking for your attention, & she keeps doing that, but with the running around replaced by a sad cry trying to get you closer. She’s 2 years old and has been with
me for one year now. I may sound like a crazy person wanting help for a dog
which people would pay a lot of money to get, but that’s not my case. I’m
completely against buying pets, just so you know. Her previous owner is the one
who got her and gave Pearl to me as she was about to move from where she lived
and wasn’t able to take care of Pearl. My previous dog had died of old age a
year before that and she knew I was missing company & would take good care
of her dog, that’s why she gave Pearl to me. I know, this isn’t about me, but I just
wanted to explain that I’m not a rich person with an “expensive” dog. I’m not.
I’m just someone who was there when she needed, and I also needed her.
She was SUPER active. Like, really, SUPER. Jumping from here
to there, running around like crazy, etc. Until one day I woke up and she
wouldn’t put one of her paws on the ground. I got her to the vet for a consult
and she explained to me everything and I’m gonna try to explain to you even
though I’m not an expert:
She has patellar/kneecap dislocation on one of her back
legs, which means her “kneecap is dislocated normal anatomic position in the
groove of the thigh bone (femur). When the kneecap is dislocated from the
groove of the thigh bone, it can only be returned to its normal position once
the quadriceps muscles in the hind legs of the animal relax and lengthen. It is
for this reason that most dogs with the condition will hold up their hind legs
for a few minutes.”
But there are degrees of complications. At 1 the dog puts it
in place on its own by stretching the leg, most people don’t even notice that,
I guess I didn’t. With the “persistence of the condition, as well as the amount
of degenerative arthritis that is involved. Typically, a dog with a dislocated
kneecap will exhibit prolonged abnormal hindlimb movement, occasional skipping
or hindlimb lameness, and sudden lameness.” The vet said this is actually kind
of normal between small races, like Pearl.
The vet wasn’t able to put it in place (manually), it kept
sliding/dislocating. Meaning: she’ll need surgery, which is going to open up
space so the bones fit in place and don’t dislocate anymore – explained in my
words, which are easier to understand, believe me.
I already “paid” (creditcard which I have no idea how I’m
gonna pay) for the consult and the x-rays, which confirmed she’s gonna need
surgery, but I don’t have conditions to pay for it all. The surgery itself
costs at least R$5000,00 (about $1600) + postoperative care. I’m still
researching about prices but that’s the least expensive I was able to find for
now, and still gotta check every places’ backgrounds to see if they’re reliable.
I’m completely devastated seeing little Pearl like this. She
was this super happy and crazy dog and now she’s just… there. I want to help
her, I need to help her, but I can’t… not alone. I’m currently unemployed, not
because I want to, but because it’s really hard to get a job around here.
The
vet just said she shouldn’t move that leg and for me to try to make her not to,as movement equals more conflict. But she didn’t say how, that’s all on me. On
the pic you can see my attempt to make it still with a piece of cloth wrapped
around her knee, not very effective so I’m accepting ideas.

Oh, here it goes again, cowardly haters who don’t have the guts to turn off anon and talk to someone else like mature people.
I’d say it’s lack of dignity, but there’s more to it than just that.
It’s evil. It’s just evil, to ruin someone else’s life like that, to poison their soul and to hurt them just because you can–you think you’re anonymus so you’re allowed to do whatever you want and it has no consequences.
My best friend suffered from haters for five years of her primary school and it left her with massive social anxiety and inability to trust people. My other friend was bullied as a child and had suicide thoughts at the age of 13. I was bullied at school and believe me, I know what it is like. It makes you feel you’re worthless, you don’t deserve to be here, to do what you love, you think that maybe these words of hate are actually true? And then you start looking around, and oh dear, what if everyone out here really think the same about me, they just don’t tell it and–
It’s such a cruel way to kill someone from the inside.
You may think it’s nothing. Just a few words. Just a message. But you never know that they might have struggled with depression. Or had similar situation before. And consequences may come. Worse than you had thought.
It’s just nasty. Talking shit about others ON ANON, so “no one can catch you”. Bullshit. Karma has no deadline. And even if it did, even if you get away with it – it’s still ruining someone’s life. It’s changing them forever. I thing that you may not fully realise it.
I’ve written this post not because I’m trying to involve in some private quarrel–still, sending someone anon hate messages is not how mature people argue–but because it just drives me crazy to see people hurting other people just because they can and fuck, this is real, guys! I know that Internet seems like some other dreamy world with no real life consequences, but such messages could push someone to end their life, and I mean it! I can’t imagine what haters are thinking when they send such messages. I never will understand them. But it’s nasty. It’s lack of any dignity, any maturity, any human feelings. It’s evil. I’ll probably get hate myself for this post, but well – shoot! Go on, you cowards who can’t get yourself to argue with someone in a normal, open conversation, face to face.

I use to have hateful messages not especially here but on a lot of forums, even on my own ones. Most of the time it was about my fanfictions or creations, and now about my sims, then now I don’t know what to think about me. I was bullied a lot because I’m extremly ugly ( and it still like this, people are disgusted by my appereance ), the pupils hated me, and the teachers too. (They threw me in a very bad vocationnal school in an inferior sector of study, then now I think I’m stupid and illiterate, and that explains the hatred again my stuffs ( stories, sims…), then now I’m even scared to write my sims 3 story. Those haters are dangerous and evil. I’m not even sure those anonymous haters were right ( especially about my stories, one of them sent me a review full of misspelled words and badly written.

I understand why French people don’t like sims 2 stories at all, those sims are not beautiful, and there’s no sliders for the body. The graphics in ths sims 3 are better, and with the sliders, the sims look better.

We’ve all been disappointed so many times by tumblr’s updates, and some of us have put up with them in the past, but their latest nsfw filter is, by far, the worst.
Whilst I can understand tumblr’s efforts in implementing this type of censoring system, it isn’t helpful at all, not to mentiontheir algorithm is inaccurate and 99% of the posts that get marked as nsfw are in reality, SFW.Whereas images of nude photography aren’t even flagged as sensitive.
We don’t need an apology on what was happening/what tumblr is “working on” to improve things. What tumblr should really do, is remove this function. Because it’s been affecting nothing but innocent posts, for instance photos/gifs of people holding hands, a character’s face, etc; and it’s also affecting communities like lgbt folks and anime/animation fandoms, where anime/disney edits are getting flagged as NSFW for no logical reason.
if there are people who want to have a clean dash, by all means they could just easily turn on the safe mode on tumblr to avoid seeing [the real] sensitive posts.
I don’t think tumblr @staff understands the severity of how it’s affecting a lot of people, especially those edits/graphics makers and tumblr artists who depend on tumblr to post their work online.On top of that, the sensitive review would take days, and it’s exasperating. Instead of launching an algorithm that doesn’t work right, they shouldn’t launch it at all until and unless it works in the right way, or find other solutions that DOES NOT affect graphic makers who post their art/edits online. Rolling out such a flawed algorithm is simply unprofessional imo. Honestly we all love spending time on tumblr but please @staff fix this issue soon so that it doesn’t affect people like this.
